Testing Day at KSL – What To Bring

Please allow 2-hours for your testing session. The general flow is as follows: pre-screening, warm-up, test (20 – 30 minutes), cool-down, data analysis, education session about heart rate training & your test results.

  • FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS, PLEASE FOLLOW THE PRE-TEST GUIDELINES
    • No alcohol consumption within 24 hours prior to testing.
      No strenuous exercise within 6 hours prior to testing.
      No smoking within 4 hours prior to testing.
      Refrain from drinking caffeinated beverages within 2 hours prior to testing.
      Drink 2 to 4 glasses of water 2 hours prior to measurements.

    • KSL Waiver & Pre-testing Guidelines  (Please review, print, sign, & bring the forms with you.)
    • Water bottle
    • Snack for after your test
    • Small towel
    • Heart rate monitor (if you have one, otherwise we’ve got you covered)
  • TREADMILL TEST
    • Running shoes
    • Socks
    • Shorts
    • T-shirt
  • CYCLING TEST
    • Bike (clean please – dirt & salt are rough on our testing equipment)
    • Smooth back tire
    • Cycling shorts
    • Shirt
    • Cycling shoes
    • Socks
